About Us
Presently, when today's world is advancing so rapidly in technology and science, I focused on stretching
myself completely to catch this trend before it's too late. In my many years of experience in the
management and tourism sectors, I was one of those who mostly used social media for business
purposes This had already drawn me into the world of informatics. As a result, I have received training
on many subjects such as web design, word press, digital marketing, SEO, etc.
My first website experience was turkishbazaar.us, which I prepared for Turks living in America. It was a
type of yellow page directory and was the only one in its category. I started my IT career with this
website which I presented on December 15, 2020. In the meantime, our guide site continues steadily on
without any challenges. Soon after this, there was a sales site project that was always on my mind, and I
planted the first seeds of sultanbala.com. This took place just nine months ago. As someone who has
always tried to protect the Turkish culture and traditions, I decided that I could promote and sell our
traditional Turkish handicrafts and new fashion knitted and handmade products in America. So, I started
to work to bring the project to life. This story is the story of an enterprising Turkish woman who is the
granddaughter of Atatürk.
I am the daughter of an artisan mother, who graduated from the Fashion Painting and Art school, who is
an expert in knitting, embroidery, sewing, painting, and drawing. I dedicate this work to my dear mother;
from whose spirituality I benefit; (May God grant you a long and healthy life).
Bala Hatun is the subject of many ancient Turkish films, T.V. series and history; and for which I have
named the site, whose name I also bear. It is also dedicated to Bala Hatun herself, (may her soul be
blessed).
Our Goal
The point we have come to in this adventure (thank God) which I started alone, but walked with
conviction, was to reach a core staff consisting of experts in their respective fields. Our hopes and goals are to successfully promote and present Turkish handcrafts and all kinds of art and gift products to America. With the responsibility of representing Turkiye, it can continue as a reliable online sales site.
Each of our products will have the phrase “Made in Turkiye.” Therefore, our future plans, are adding
many more artisans to our staff over time. With various product categories and stocks, these niche
products, carefully made from every point of Turkiye, are to meet the American people. Sultan Bala is a brand and an American company.
Our Vision and Mission
While moving in line with the branding goals, I would like to thank all my teammates who believe in this
project, who have made efforts, and my friends with whom I have supported and exchanged ideas. We
have set out together for a long adventure. With regular and reliable work, we will try to deliver our
Turkish handmade niche products and unique creations to you meticulously, which you and your family
will enjoy using.
As we progress, we want to add value to life without harming nature and leave a livable world to future
generations. Our products, which are produced entirely by hand in Turkiye, are a modern and authentic
mix of Turkish culture. We attach importance to the fact that they are recycled materials at many stages
from production, packaging, and transportation.
